The number of reports is rising significantly in nearly all regions and in all age groups. The number of newly reported infections has increased more than fivefold compared to four weeks ago. There has also been a sharp increase in the number of people who are or were admitted to hospital due to COVID-19. The number of intensive care admissions is rising significantly. The percentage of positive tests at the GGD test sites rose over the past month from 2.5% in the final week of August to 7.4% last week.
