De leden van het openSUSE Project hebben openSUSE Leap 15.1 uitgebracht. Leap is de samensmelting van de communitydevelopment van openSUSE met de enterprisestabiliteit van SUSE Linux Enterprise. In openSUSE Leap 15 treffen we onder meer een nieuwe partitioner aan, wordt Firewalld gebruikt voor de firewall, is er een nieuw uiterlijk, ondersteuning voor NextCloud en ondersteuning voor atomic updates via Kubic. De aankondiging van deze uitgave ziet er als volgt uit: openSUSE Community Releases Leap 15.1 Version Today´s release of the openSUSE Leap 15.1 brings professional users, entrepreneurs and Independent Software Vendors updated support for modern hardware.
