Eerste reacties `Aladdin`: Disney-magie of toch niet? (FilmTotaal)

Altijd weer leuk om de eerste reacties te lezen op een toekomstige film. Nu zijn de eerste reacties op Aladdin online verschenen, het nieuwste Disney-sprookje dat omgezet is naar een live action-bioscoopfilm. Wat wordt er over de film van regisseur Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword) gezegd? Bekijk de trailer/video De eerste reacties zijn doorgaans positief. De film wordt verrassend genoemd en zeker niet zo slecht of matig als door velen wordt verwacht. De rol van Will Smith zou prima zijn en Mena Massoud (Aladdin) en Naomi Scott (Jasmine) zouden het uitstekend doen in de voornaamste hoofdrollen. Ook de energierijke muzikale invulling in de meer serieuze benadering wordt geprezen. Er zou wel een minder kantje aan de film zitten; de rol van de Nederlander Marwan Kenzari. Hij speelt de slechterik Jafar.
