Margot Robbie over niet zo serieuze `Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)` (FilmTotaal)

Even geleden werd duidelijk dat de titel van de Birds of Prey-film behoorlijk lang wordt, met Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn). Hoofdrolspeler Margot Robbie liet tijdens The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon weten waarom. `Die is echt,` bevestigde Robbie. `Ja, dat is de titel. Het wordt geen... Het is geen erg serieuze film. Birds of Prey maakt het erg serieus, en dan zwakt de ondertitel het een beetje af alsof Harley soort van zegt: `Hé, hier ben ik dan.` Het is zeker een manier om de bioscoopbezoekers duidelijk te maken dat dit een `grappige` DC-film zal zijn.` De regie van Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) ligt in handen van Cathy Yan en Robbie is dus weer te zien als Harley Quinn. Andere rollen zijn voor Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Helena Bertinelli / Huntress), Jurnee Smollett-Bell (Dinah Lance / Black Canary), Rosie Perez (Renee Montoya), Ella Jay Basco (Cassandra Cain) en Ewan McGregor als Black Mask. Vanaf 7 februari 2020 moet de achtste DCEU-film in de Nederlandse bioscoopzalen te zien zijn.
